“The reason it’s important to me to work with Lounge this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is to lift the stigma that cancer is just for older people… anybody can get cancer, cancer doesn’t care who you are, and it can affect anybody.”

After being diagnosed with cancer 3 days before my 22nd birthday, straight away I made the decision to look for the positives where I could.
Whilst going through 6 months of chemotherapy, I felt it was so important not to become known for the disease and portray that I am first and foremost still ‘me’. Whilst going through treatment I graduated from my degree, built a career in fashion influencing, (something I had always dreamt of) and started a platform who support young women with cancer. (Cancer Chicks) which is now working in partnership with Trekstock, one of the charities Lounge are supporting through this amazing campaign.
It has been so important to me to plan and work behind the scenes with Lounge on this campaign. We have worked so hard to ensure that this Breast Cancer Awareness Month we will use our platforms where possible to raise as much awareness of how to check your boobs, and raise extremely important funds to support the charities who held my hand in becoming who I am today.
