That's always been our mission. Whether we're interacting with our Loungers via our website, our Instagram or IRL, our aim is simple: To support and encourage women worldwide to feel sexy and comfortable in everything that they are. Every woman is welcome here.
The Ongoing Story So Far
It all started in the Lounge of co-founders and couple, Dan and Mel. The perfect combination of a business brain and creative soul built the foundations for a brand that would change the game. It was time to introduce Comfort Made Sexy to the world and so, our classic Triangle Set design was born.
In 2016, Mel and Dan launched the brand officially and were on a mission to expand, with the creation of Lounge Apparel and even more underwear sets. Their living room could no longer contain the success of the brand, and so they moved into their first ever office and warehouse space.
In 2017, it was time to bring some more Loungers on board. Mel and Dan hired their first employees, who are still with us to this day! The team was ready to make some big moves and take their ever-expanding business overseas.
After another year of extraordinary growth, our Loungers grew with the brand. As a rapidly-expanding team of 6, we said goodbye to our second home and scaled up into our third warehouse space. During this time, we launched our Australian website - we're a global family, after all!
This was a year no one could have predicted. We celebrated our 3rd Birthday Sale and launched a whole new arm of the brand, Lounge Swim. We took our collection to Miami Swim Week, experienced yet another warehouse move with 25 incredible Loungers, and kickstarted one of our biggest campaigns to date, #FeelYourBreast.
After a truly testing year (in more ways than one), we rocketed into a game-changing space with our first million-pound hour and proudly took our first steps on our sustainability journey. We also continued our #FeelYourBreast campaign, which saw Lounge raising £104,837 for our partner charities!
This year, we moved into our brand new HQME. We launched 39 new products, shipped 5.6 million products, opened 2 new distribution centres in the UK and EU, and took our campaigns to the next level, inspiring our Loungers worldwide.
We launched so many innovative products for our Loungers, from a beautiful range of basics to our first-ever nursing bra - because Comfort Made Sexy is for everyone, every day. 2022 also marked a huge milestone for us - raising over £500,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness was an incredible achievement. There was simply no stopping us.
We're not slowing down. Strap in for our sexiest year yet. Seriously, this will be one to remember...
